one night, while browsing the web I saw some blog of my friend in one networking site about cinemalaya. I saw "Ligo na u, Lapit na me" it was a novel and it is one of the movie that will showcase in cinemalaya. I know the story because I have that book and I've already red it(I think twice) so, I asked Dianne if we can watch together.cinemalaya will showcase the movie in ccp and greenbelt


I surfed the web to know the schedule and the venue and try to asked some friends to join with us. kim and his boyfriend join with us.

18:00 hrs. we arrived at ccp theater but the show will start at 18:15 hrs. we start to fall in line to buy tickets but some movie tickets were sold out so, decided to watch another movie. Luckily, the movie we watched is beautiful. I didn't expect that (because it was foreign indie movie)

because we were late we weren't able to watch some stories ( I think there are 4-5 stories)

around 20:30 when movie ends. after the movie, we try to capture some moments and we saw some celebrities

since we weren't able to watch "ligo na u, lapit na me" we decide to buy tickets for the next showing of the movie. the next showing will be on 6/21/11

20:15 when my prof in my last subject dismiss us and the movie will start in 21:00 (imagine the adrenaline rush that I used)
around 20:40 I arrived at kfc vito cruz. (from intramuros to ccp) good thing dianne already bought snacks for us.
20:55 we are in the theater. the theater is almost occupied and we are lucky that we found a good seat for us.

lovers at mt. batulao

since I'm graduating this year (hopefully!) I decided to have more focus on my study and take a rest from hiking which is hard to do..

before the school starts, I saw the Documentary of GMA 7. after watching the documentary I decided to hike one more but it will be the last for this year and I will continue it after the graduation.

while surfing the net and looking for some place to go through. the problem arises in my head who will be my buddy in my hike. since some of my friends don't have hike on that month while others is busy for their work.

but then, I almost forgot my Girlfriend and also my best friend.

On that day, I text her if she can join me. we planned to hike twice but it never happen because of some incidents happen. so we decided that this would the right time to go with it.

we decided to hike with Mt. Batulao and try it on a dayhike( we decided to make it a dayhike because she have a work)

around 6:00 we meet at 7/11 pedro gil near at PCU

7:30 we go to jollibee buendia to buy for our lunch

around 8:00 we go to edsa taft to wait for the BCS bus that bounds to nasugbu.

around 10:00 we start trekking since none of us know the trail we look for a guide. 

that boy is our guide a 10 years old boy namely "ranuel"

at the trail, you can see a clear way and some "kubo" that sells buko and mountaun dew.

around 12:30 we arrived at peak 8, at this point you need to pay 20 pesos for the registration. since it's lunch time we decided to eat our lunch and to take a rest also

at peak 8, you can see the ranges of mt. batulao

around 13:00 after eating lunch and some rest we decided to ascent to the summit but the weather condition starts to change the sky turns to cloudy. so, we ask ranuel if the weather is still ok but he answered "mukhang uulan po". we decided to not to ascent for the summit because of the weather condition. we try to captured some moments while we are in peak 8

while we descending we try to capture some unforgettable moments

around 14:00 we rest at one of the "kubo's"

15:00 we arrived at the small village.

around 15:30 we are in the highway waiting for the bus to go back to manila

 

even though we didn't ascent for the summit of mt. Batulao I'm happy for what we experience but we are still looking for some new adventures.

although we ascent to the summit I will give information about the place

07:30 Start Trek

09:00 arrival at peak 8 (fee of Php 20.00)

12:00 Descent ;if you're on a dayhike  (optional if you are in a 2 days hike you can savor the moment)

14:30 Back at evercrest

15:30 going back to manila

18:00 ETA Manila

Tricycle fare - Php 20.00 per person

Registration fee - Php 20.00 (new trail)

if you're going to a traverse there's another registration in the old trail - Php 20.00

this mountain was the first mountain that showed me the greatness of nature.


my cousin "jay" told me that they will hike a mountain in rizal.


since high school I'm already interested in doing some adventures especially hiking because some of my friends tried it also but since my parents was strict I couldn't join my friends. 
(back to story)


since I'm an adult now. I convinced my mother to go with my cousin.


the day came, I was very excited I couldn't sleep. 


Around 3 am. I'm ready with my backpack but my cousin still sleeping he said "ang aga mo naman. kumain ka muna dyan. mmya pa tyo mga 5 am aalis"


haha. so I was very early due to my excitement.


around 7 am. we start trekking. 

since I'm a newbie (at this point in my life I'm still considering myself as a newbie). after several hours of walking I already got tired but the will of my eagerness boost my body. haha


around 10 we arrived at manggahan and we decided to take some rest since the heat got intense and we will ready the food for our lunch

14:00 we resumed our trek

before sunset we decided to pitch our tent and take some memorable pictures. Unfortunately,we decided to not to go to the summit and try to continue the trek tomorrow morning(5/16/10)

Due to my excitement I forgot to bring jacket. Imagine the feeling. haha

some of us prepared the food while the others continue to ascent to the summit

around 9:00 we decided to descent but we follow first rule of mountaineering. "leave no trace"

around 10:30 we arrived at manggahan and decided to prepared for lunch. Being a newbie to the hobby I'm trying to be observant to what their doing and be able to learn things from them.

around 15:00 we decided to descent to town proper

around 17:00 we are going back home to manila. :)
